Walk to Keyhaven from your holiday caravan in the New Forest

Hurst Castle and lighthouse

From the caravan site you can walk to the end of Lower Pennington Lane where you will find footpaths across Pennington Marshes, home of the Hampshire Wildlife Trust Reserve, a bird watchers paradise, bringing you to the sea wall, or a cycleway for a quicker route to the pretty sailing centre of Keyhaven. There is a small harbour, a sailing club and a country pub, The Gun, where you can get excellent food and drink. Sit in the garden in the summer or in the conservatory or by the fire on colder days. The more energetic of you can continue on to the Shingle bank and the to Hurst Castle, built by Henry VIII, or Milford beach. See www.cogb.com/lymington
